What is on your to do list?
With everyones lives being so busy these days it is hard to keep track of everything you need to accomplish in a day.
We only have so much free time…. when we are not working, to complete all the things we need to do as a grown ups.
Laundry, grocery shopping, cooking, cleaning, kids activities, fundraisers, birthdays, holidays, paying bills, etc. you get it..it can be overwhelming at times.
So we forget about the little things we can do for ourselves to keep us sane and healthy.
We all have different priorities as to where we choose to put our focus and intentions on any given day.
It is my goal to educate as many people as possible to the fact that 4 minutes a day can have an huge impact on your life.
4 minutes can add more years to your life expectancy, can save you time, money and a possible a systemic disease from developing and progressing, if you establish healthy routines now.
I have put sticky notes on my steering wheel so I won’t forget to do someone and still drive right by , not stop and later that night be like oh no I forgot to do that thing. 🙁
Why? because I am thinking about to many thing, like what I need to do and not focusing on the now.
Now is the time we have, now is where we need to put our focus …and not forget the important little things we can do for ourselves that make a huge difference for our future selves.
This is why it is my mission to change your focus, to call you to action to brush your teeth. To take the time, to find the time, to make the time, now.
If not now when?
If you are not in the habit of brushing two time a day for two minutes… ask yourself, why not? What do you need to do to make it a habit?
Do you need to add it to your to do list?
Do you need to make a to do list?
Some days I have it all under control. I’ve got this.
Some days… I need to make a list so I can remember what I need or want to accomplish that day, because I have overbooked my schedule.
Or I forget I am not Wonder Woman! I think I am super human. Until I remember I’m not!
I do not forget to brush I am a bit OCD about that. But I do get in a hurry and rush though it. That is how I know what happen I have been there done that.
There have been times I only brush for a minute, I admit it. Nobody is perfect, I certainly do not claim to be.
I have been in the “Do as I say not as I Do” category once or twice.
I am much better with my oral health. I tend to however, not make the time for my physical health putting stretching and working out on the bottom of my to do list.
We all have our baggage. Some of us more than others. Yet, we all have it.
Sometimes the smallest step in the right direction ends up being the biggest step in our lives.
So I am an advocate of the small steps it takes to finding, taking and making the time to brush your teeth…now and move your oral health to the top of your to do list.
Your future self will thank you!
